Parent Volunteers

Thank you for offering to volunteer at Excelsior! Your time and support make a difference and help strengthen our school community. Your dedication helps create a safe environment, supports students’ growth and strengthens connections between our families and our school. This year, GGUSD has
implemented new guidelines to help keep our students and schools safe.

Before any event, such as going on class Field Trips or supporting teachers and students during classroom events, all volunteers must complete the following requirements:

• Complete a 1 hour Mandated Reporter online training.
The link for this training is located in our "Quick Links" column.
• Provide current TB clearance. This may be obtained by any clinic or health professional of your choice.
Our School Nurse may be able to help provide this document.
• Valid Driver’s License

After completing the online training and printing a completion certificate, please gather the other items, and bring them to the office to complete the Volunteer Information Forms.

Thank you for taking the time to complete these steps and for being an important part of the Excelsior community.
